First Impressions

At this 60out location, I have also played Grandma's Masterplan and The Hangover. Both are fun escape rooms. Ever since Jumanji's opening day, I have been hearing roaring reviews about this escape room.

The GMs were sassy and started off our experience on the right note. The GMs told us that one does not need to see the original 1995 Jumanji and/or the 2017 Jumanji movie to enjoy the escape room. I have seen both versions and 60out did a very good job creating an escape room based on Jumanji and it's movies.

Puzzles

At first, the flow of the escape room is very linear. However, when the flow suddenly branches off to different puzzles, it hits you with a big "WOW!". Just like the 2017 Jumanji movie, you are given special roles. The puzzles correlated well with these roles. No puzzle was too hard or too easy. It was just SUPER FUN! It was a joy to complete my tasks and to see/help complete the specific assignments my group members had to do. One of the best escape rooms for puzzles just made our group feel like kids again.

Immersion

Typical 60out immersion. In other words, an amazing set and great use of technology. It was especially cool when you choose your role and provided materials for your roles.

Value

Although this escape room is on the expensive side (~$40), it was MORE THAN WORTH IT.

Should you play it?

YES! A MUST PLAY! You will need at least 4 escape artists.
